"Where do you draw the line?"

You can ask it about almost anything.  I'll think up some uses right now....
"How much can you spend on groceries?"
"Is it ever okay to tell a lie?"
"When is abortion not immoral?" or maybe "When is abortion not a sin?" or even "When is abortion a sin?"

It's okay to not always force yourself to have an answer to questions like these, but sometimes, in the more stressful days of our lives, these questions are the ones that cause us to either grow philosophically or die metaphorically (or literally).

It can be useful in civil, social conversation to ask "Where do we draw the line?" because it requires us to go to where we really live, or to show what we really believe.
